CONTEXT

Arianespace has been providing launch services for the different versions of Ariane rockets for 28 years. Launched from Kourou, in French Guiana, the rockets place telecommunications and observation satellites into geostationary orbit. This European company had more than 50% of the world market but was facing competition from Chinese and Russian players.

CHALLENGE

In 2000, Dragon Rouge set out to give Arianespace an edge over the competition by making it the uncontested leader when it comes to placing geostationary satellites in orbit.

SOLUTION

The logotype was revamped to present the brand’s range of launchers more clearly and make more direct reference to the orbit into which satellites are placed with such accuracy. The new visual identity is even more professional thanks to a focus on absolute quality for all communication issued by the company.
