CONTEXT
Bulgari jewelry has been around for more than a century and is recognized worldwide for the extraordinary quality of its precious gems. The brand has gradually expanded into the fragrance market and, more recently, to luxury hotels. As part of this development strategy, Bulgari’s cosmetics research department studied the therapeutic properties of precious gems for the skin. The result was Bulgari Gem Essence, an exclusive blend of precious stones rich in oligoelements that illuminates and protects the complexion.
CHALLENGE
The portrayal of the specific values of the concept – luminosity and radiance – had to be in keeping with the brand’s unique codes and positioning on the high-end luxury market. It was the only way to meet the expectations of women who pay attention to the smallest details. |
SOLUTION
Dragon Rouge has designed the packaging for Bulgari Gem Essence skincare around the concept of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"precious stones\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and their effects in mind. The outer box is cut like a jewel, with a highly sophisticated approach to materials and, in particular, a hologram effect that evokes luminosity and radiance. It is the first time this type of packaging is being used in the cosmetics industry. The pale pink on the packaging calls to mind the voluptuousness and softness of skin that is protected and revitalized. Communicating the product concept and an image of ultra-sophistication comes naturally after that: refined typographies and a pink-gray-silver color code used for the three product ranges. |
