Heineken brand, Amstel has presence across the globe in different markets, each with an identity tailored for local audiences. We were asked to create its new look for Brazil.
Proud of its Dutch heritage and unique recipe, the brand required packaging that highlighted its history and tradition and one of our biggest challenges was to find the right balance between the brand's heritage and suitability for the local market.
The final design uses the original coat of arms symbol that honours the brands origins from 1870, Amsterdam. The gold and white helps convey sophistication, quality and stand out appeal from its competitors.
