Joanna joined in 2014 to lead our Shanghai office, and is responsible for our offer across greater China. She has been living in Asia for the last twelve years and has extensive experience in innovation, brand development, brand-led growth, brand strategy and advertising communications. She joined Dragon Rouge from Unilever where most recently she was Global Brand Director working and living across North America, Latin America, Southeast Asia and North Asia.
Joanna is expert at excavating both consumer and market trends / insights to create winning strategies that grow brands and businesses. As a Brand / Marketing Management Executive with +20 years experience in marketing and brand management, she has helped both foreign and local brands and companies from FMCG to Commercial Real Estate, from Luxury Retail to Technology, from Alcohol & Spirits to Pharmaceutical succeed in China. Joanna believes that success lies in finding the “sweet spot” at the intersection of brand, category, market and consumer insight as well as business foresight to deliver competitive advantage.
Joanna has a track record of helping brand achieve measurable success with 2 AMA Effies and 2 Cannes Lions awarded. In May 2013, Joanna was named as one of "China's 50 Top Marketing Leaders" by the Internationalist Magazine and the ANA. She was also later named the same year as one of the top “1000 Global Marketing Leaders” by the ANA.
