PRE-PACKED FOOD CAN BE HEALTHY!

Little Sheep is a Chinese restaurant chain with a mission to introduce Mongolian culture and food to consumers in China and the world. It also has ready-to-use broth and dipping sauce packs for consumers to enjoy quick and easy meals at home. With the aim of changing the notion that pre-packed food is unhealthy, Little Sheep wished to convey the “delicious yet healthy” positioning through its new packaging and visual expression.

We needed to upgrade the existing packaging to give “healthy” cues and appeal to a young audience. At the same time, we had to create a unified look & feel across various product ranges for both domestic and overseas markets.

A UNIFIED LOOK & FEEL

Inspired by water, which is the essence of life and the “magic” ingredient of hot pots, we developed a unified shape across various offerings. The design evolved around the core idea of an aromatic broth filled with an assortment of carefully selected natural ingredients that nourish and invigorate the body.

TELLING AN ENGAGING STORY

We worked with a young and talented team consisting of a food photographer & stylist, to tell an engaging story of the fresh ingredients in the pot. Real, natural food was styled and shot in a delicate and fun way that conveys the key message of “healthy delicacy” of Little Sheep.
