The Light House, the building which sheds light on new ways of working

To rewrite the story of the Scaprim’s building, located at the gateway of La Défense, we partnered with the consultant-architect Karl Petit.
Our missions: carrying out its full restructuration and transforming its 10600 square meters to reposition it on the rental market.

To give a strong personality to the site, we have imagined an iconic object, namely a giant, white diffuser lamp passing through the 5 levels of the 6-floor building. The building, The Light House which is named after this lamp, sheds light on new ways of working nowadays, mixing efficiency, facilities and conviviality
All shared areas of The Light House have been redesigned: from the reception hall with its mezzanine, the 3-atmosphere restaurant, the work café, the business center… to the landscaped terraces. The gathering areas combine comfort and flexibility. The modular forum for instance is sometimes a 100-seat auditorium, sometimes a sport & leisure area.
Finally, the fitting out of the 6 levels of office floors, was rethought in order to welcome the future takers.

The works will begin in summer 2019!
